Arti Ross Kelso

Arti Ross Kelso, LMT,  is an inspired yoga and bodywork practitioner and experiential educator with over 30 years of experience. Arti has a great love for empowered learning, and has personally trained thousands of massage therapists, yoga  and  body mind practitioners and holistic educators.  She has been teaching Kripalu Bodywork since 1986, which is an integrative approach to massage and healing arts based in the yogic tradition. This approach combines the power of presence and compassion with skillful massage and energy balancing techniques to provide a unique and powerful opportunity for healing. She served from 2005 - 2010 as Dean of the Kriplau School of Massage at Kriplau Center for Yoga and Health in Stockbridge Mass, and continues to offer programs for those new to the yogic approach to massage and energy work as well as to advanced practitioners.

Arti is a gifted healing arts therapist herself, licensed and practicing therapeutic massage in New York State since 1980 and  Massachusetts since 1985.  Arti’s passion is helping to empower others to experience their own innate healing potential and God-given gifts through the direct experience of free flowing prana, or life force. She opens to, honors and celebrates the multiple dimensions of being human with all those she works with.

Her private healing work is indescribable, but in her attempts to describe what spontaneously emerges from her according to the needs of her clients and the movement of Spirit, she says, “I use a range of traditional massage therapy techniques, various yogic and energetic healing methods, earth centered healing arts as well as my life experience as a longtime yogini, household herbalist, and community advocate.”  She is the founder and director of Muddy Angel Healing Arts, a private healing and educational practice which is slowly transitioning to her brand new company Optimal Wellness Lifestyle Strategies. A new link will be appearing soon!

Arti is also a devoted yogini and student of Ayurveda. She graduated from Kripalu’s School of Ayurveda

(class of 2009), and is now offering wellness and lifestyle consultations based in this ancient vedic tradition.

She lives with her husband, Mark , and their two sons, Topaz and Raven Ross Kelso in the Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts.
