Directions to Muddy Angel Music
Muddy Angel Music is located on Church Lane and Rt 41 in the lower floor of the Richmond Congregational Church, next door to the town hall. Park between the Church and the Town Hall. As you face the Church from this parking lot, the door is on the right. Come on in! If the recording sign is on the door, come in quietly and wait in the entryway.
Directions from the Mass Pike
Take exit 1 at West Stockbridge, turn right at the end of the ramp, and left at the T onto Rt 41/102. Stay on Rt. 41 through the town, passing over the Williams River, the Shaker Mill Tavern, and the Town Cemetery. As you go around the right curve after the Town Cemetery, you will enter Richmond. Keep going on Rt 41, past Lenox Road, the Post Office, the School, and Sleepy Hollow Rd. all on the right. The next right turn is Church Lane.
Directions from New York CIty via the Taconic Parkway (about 3 hours)
Going North on the Taconic. take the last exit before Rt. 90, which is Rt 295. Take 295 East. You will travel 10 miles before ending in a T on Rt 41. Turn right on Rt. 41 and in less than half a mile, turn left in between the Church and the Town Hall.
Directions from New York State via Rt. 22
Take Rt. 22 to Rt. 295 at the traffic light. There is a corner deli, a hardware store, a service garage, and a billboard on this corner. Go east on Rt. 295 into Massachusetts until it ends on a T in Rt. 41.Turn right on Rt. 41 and in less than half a mile, turn left in between the Church and the Town Hall.
Directions from NY Thruway I-90
If you are on 87, get on I-90 extension B1, B2, B3, and take the B2 exit for the Taconic Parkway. Following the signs for 295 East, you will travel 10 miles before ending in a T on Rt 41. Turn right on Rt. 41 and in less than half a mile, turn left in between the Church and the Town Hall.
DIrections from Pittsfield:
Coming from the West Side of Pittsfield, (10-15 minutes) take Rt. 20 to Rt 41, turning left at the Hancock Shaker Village. GO 3 miles south, past Rt 295 and in less than half a mile, turn left in between the Church and the Town Hall.
Coming from South Pittsfield. (10-15 minutes)) take Dan Fox Dr. past the Stop and Shop Plaza to Barker Rd. Turn left on Barker Rd, headed south past Bartlett's orchard, Half a mile past Bartlett's turn right on Summit Rad and take it until it ends in a T on Rt. 41. Turn Left on 41, past 295 and in less than half a mile, turn left in between the Church and the Town Hall.
Coming from Northeast Pittsfield, get on Rt 20 going West toward Rt 41, turning left at the Hancock Shaker Village. Go 3 miles south, past Rt 295 and in less than half a mile, turn left in between the Church and the Town Hall.
Coming from Southeast Pittsfield, make your way to South St. and turn West (right if you are coming south on Rt. 7 and left if you are driving north) onto South Mountain Road. Follow South Mountain Rd. until it ends on Barker/Swamp Rd. Turn left onto Barker/Swamp Rd. headed south past Bartlett's Orchard, Half a mile past Bartlett's, turn right on Summit Road and take it until it ends in a T on Rt. 41. Turn Left on 41, past 295 and and in less than half a mile, turn left in between the Church and the Town Hall.
Directions from West Stockbridge and points south in Massachusetts. Take Rt 102 or Rt 41 into West Stockbridge and Stay on Rt. 41 through the town, passing over the Williams River, past the Shaker Mill Tavern on your left, and the past Town Cemetery on your right. From the center of Lenox, take Rt, 183 South toward Stockbridge. Just past Tanglewood and right before Kripalu Center, take a left onto RIchmond Road and follow it until it ends at Rt. 41. Turn right on Rt 41, heading north past the school on the right, and Sleepy Hollow Rd. The next right turn is Church Lane.
